During Rio Lindo's Alumni Weekend on a sunny Sabbath (Saturday) afternoon I was walking to the boy's dorm. Armed with my Nikon D610 & Nikkor 24-70 F2.8G I first hear what sound like a swarm of bees! Not "beeing" to keen on getting stung I was hesitant and began to hurry as increased my pace to leave the danger zone. The remembering that I had the one thing that allows me to man up within seconds (my camera) I stop and look. The tree (which no one knows what kind of tree it is) was full of bees who were pollinating and eating. To my surprise I see the bees aren't alone! I shifted my focus of the buzzing of the bees to the calls of the humming birds who were feasting on these same flowers. I then heard one zip past my head and I immediately ducked! I was so excited because I have never been able to photograph humming birds, here's what I got, enjoy.
